Layer Chunk 100 Days
Survival Map
The "100 Layers" or "Random Chunk" is a specialized, vertical Minecraft survival map. You are placed in a single chunk (16x16 blocks) tower made of 100 vertical layers stacked on top of each other. The goal is to dig, craft, and survive all the way to the bottom.
Core Features:
- Progressive Difficulty: Unlike a standard flat world, each block layer downward offers different blocks, resources, and mobs, becoming progressively harder and more rewarding.
- Resource Management: Because you are bound to a single chunk, resources are scarce. You must efficiently farm, build mob grinders, and manage every block you break.
- Vertical Expansion: You start at the very top and must strategize your descent, often dealing with traps, lava, and dangerous spawns as you dig deeper.
Popular Variations:
- One Chunk with 100 Random Layers: Specifically mixes biomes, structures, and dimensions (including Nether and End layers) so that every few blocks bring a completely new environment.
- Live 100 Days: Some map variants let the chunk grow layer by layer as you play, turning survival into a race against the ever-expanding depth.
How to Play & Tips:
For Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Windows, consoles, mobile), you can install this directly. Plan your downward shafts carefully, manage your resources from Day 1, and build secure bases at intermediate levels to survive the initial difficult layers without dying.
